Working at this co-working space for a week was like finding a unicorn on a rainbow while riding a unicycle. It was magical, colorful, and an absolute delight!
The space itself is bright, modern, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need to get work done. The wifi was fast enough to download a year's worth of cat videos (not that I did that, of course), and the ergonomic chairs were so comfortable that I may or may not have fallen asleep during a particularly long conference call.
But what really sets this co-working space apart is the people. The fellow co-workers are all friendly, welcoming, and always ready to crack a joke. And the 'Bad-Linda' Belinda was possibly the best Community Manager I've met. Admittedly, my perception could be biased due to Belinda's daily distributions of hazelnut chocolate.
In all seriousness, though, I had an amazing time working here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and productive place to work in Hastings. Whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur, or just someone who needs a change of scenery, this co-working space is definitely worth checking out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!"
I found Bad Company when needing a workspace when stuck in the Hawkes Bay for an additional day due to car repairs.
This is a magical find for those needing casual office space. The app makes booking and paying for the space really easy. The old building is fantastic and there is a range of workspaces and meeting rooms (the bar leaner in the sunshine room is my personal favourite).
Everything is on point, from the amazing design, natural light (and fresh air) to the background ambient music which doesn’t impact concentration but allows conversations to be somewhat private. And all with the expected functionality is there in terms of printing, great Wi-Fi, kitchen etc. Great coffee and food options straight across the road too.
Not only did it allow me to keep working but the space is an absolute pleasure to work in. So much so I will look to extend my next trip to the Hawkes Bay knowing I can have a functional workspace during the day.
Spent a few days in here while working abroad. First time in a co-working space and I look forward to returning.
